About the Author
The late Louis S. Rehr served with the Air Force reserves until 1958, when he was discharged with the rank of lieutenant colonel. He is buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
Carleton R. Rehr lives in Waianae, Hawaii.

Great read. Couldn't put it down

I've read many books about WWII, but this one is different. The author engaged me with a very person down to earth story. No bragging or exaggeration. Simply told from a first person point of view. A straight forward account of a humble man who was also an exceptional pilot.
My only regret is I never had a chance to meet Lou Rehr

Great book.

The writer really details everything about being a B-26 pilot. Lots of info about flying and other parts of WWII. Great pictures as well. Tough to put down.
