The book does not represent its title, only two chapters talk briefly about Line Balancing and JIT Kitting, the rest in an introduction to the assembly line. It uses the Japanese terminology a lot which I found it irrelevant.

A Very Touching Erotic Romance

This book by Toni Blake is NOT your typical erotic romance. It has warm endearing characters and a really touching story.

Nick is a housepainter with a wounded heart. Lauren writes her sexual fantasies in a Red Diary which Nick finds while painting her house. He is enticed by what she has written. He knows he shouldn't keep invading her privacy but continues to read the diary. They have some history and at first Nick wants to get even for a past wrong.

Lauren's love teaches Nick that love can heal even the worst of wounds. I definitely recommend this book!!!!

Sensual and entertaining

Nick Armstrong hates anything to do with the Ash family. After his mother died, his father took to the bottle and was ousted from a partnership with now multi-millionaire builder, Henry Ash. When Nick is hired to paint the house of Henry's daughter Lauren (whom he has not seen since they were children), he's instantly attracted to her, but can't fathom a relationship with the daughter of his enemy. When Lauren is out, he snoops in her house to get a glimpse of what "should have been his," only to find her diary. When he opens it, he discovers her erotic fantasies, and sets a plan in motion to seduce her with her own fantasies and break her heart. He doesn't factor in that his own heart might become involved. Lauren is not what Nick expects, and he soon finds himself falling for the one woman he doesn't feel he can have. When she discovers his deception, will she ever be able to forgive him?

While the plot itself is a bit predictable, the story is very engaging, and keeps the reader hooked. Nick has so many layers - he's both a tough guy and has a huge soft spot for the disabled brother he supports, while trying to find it in his heart to forgive his father for allowing their lives to be ruined. And Blake can really up to steam quotient - this is one hot book!

From the beautiful red rose cover to the end of the story, Toni Blake's THE RED DIARY is sexy, sweet and hot! A contemporary romance combines with a good old fashioned love story between two unlikely people. Even the secondary characters have a story you'll want to know more about--BIG HINT, WARNER! Overall, a very satisfying read and a story that will stay with you. Did I mention the sex? It's amazing. Thank you, Toni Blake!

The Best Yet of Lintott's Pre-Cut Quilt Books

I just received this book and again Pam Nicky Lintott does not disappoint the avid quilter. After the first 3 books I could not believe there could be any more new and inspiration quilt patterns- especially for pre-cuts- but this book is full of fresh designs As with their other books, the instructions are clear and there are pictures of 2 color ways or fabric choices to help a quilter increase their quilting options. Finally, and this is my favorite part of all, these Lintott books contain full pictures of the quilts enabling a quilter to really view the pattern, colors and values. Now, I am off to make the quilt pictured on the cover. I can not wait for it to be finished.

More Layer Cakes and Jelly Rolls

This a great book. After collecting Jelly Rolls for 3 years now and a few layer cakes I just hated to open them up.....They make such a statement on my shelves just by themselves.....If I am going to buy more this the time to do it. Just loved the quilt on the cover, because I love baskets.......I have started collecting and making basket quilts of all types.
This is now on my list. Loved to be able to Look Inside your book before purchasing.....I tend to shy away from books that I can't look through because I have been very disappointed sometimes just looking at the cover. This was a real find.
Thanks for so many great ideas and quick to make. Good for beginners with very well written instructions.

Thank goodness this arrived when my charm packs did as it made it so easy to pick out some simple, easy to sew patterns to get my quilting projects underway. The variety allowed for my niece, sister and mother to each choose different quilts using the charm colors they had picked - simple and easy, a real time saver in the pattern department.

This 200-plus page book describes the evolution of ultrasound as a diagnostic tool from its humble, often serendipitous, beginnings to the present day. It offers a comprehensive overview of the history of ultrasound in diagnosis. RAD After reading this book, one has obtained a fantastic review of the almost 60 year history of ultrasound diagnosis. The description of the pioneers incredible dedication and imagination are fascinating reading. The many state-of-the-art chapters make the book very topical for colleagues dedicated to working with ultrasound diagnosis, no matter in what area it might be. The book also gives those who have worked with ultrasound within one specialty an opportunity to gain insight into what happens in other specialties. The book is easy to read and well illustrated. The International conference “Atmosphere, Ionosphere, Safety” (AIS-2008) was devoted to (i) the analysis of the atmosphere–ionosphere response on natural and man-made processes, the reasons of occurrence of the various accompanying geophysical phenomena, and an estimation of possible consequences of their in?uence on the person and technological systems; (ii) the study of the monitoring possibility and search of the ways for the risk level decrease. Discussion of the physical and chemical processes accompanying the observable geophysical p- nomena was undertaken. The text aims to reveal the interrelations of the dynamics of various atmospheric layers, as well as discovering the parameters of the atmosphere and ionosphere and establishing the role of various physical factors in the phenomena. The goal is to forecast the dynamics of environment in the development of external perturbations.
